A Lifestyle Challenge Designed to Ignite your 2019 fitness goals

Have you ever made a New Year’s resolution only to find yourself in the same place a year later? You’re not alone, but that isn’t how it has to be. CrossFit Advantage has created the New Year, New You Challenge to help you identify your personal physical goal and attack it with guidance and intensity.

We’ve identified five lifestyle variables that you can adjust to help you accomplish your goals more easily. A Coach will guide you through the process of adjusting these, providing tips and resources along the way.

Based on what you’d like to accomplish in 2019, you’ll join one of three teams. On your team you will work with coaches and other teammates who are working towards similar goals. Together, you’ll sprint toward your goal faster than you ever thought possible.

It’s no secret that the reason many people join a gym in the first place is because they are unhappy with how they look, often due to excess body fat. As CrossFitter’s, we focus on our overall fitness, however, there are some people who would like to do more to address their body composition. Sometimes that means making changes inside the gym, and sometimes it means making changes in your life outside the gym. Either way, by joining this team, you will be joining other challengers who also want to focus on changing their body composition and working with Coaches who will help get you there.

Team Performance

Getting Faster, stronger, fitter

Performance is everything. When our bodies are in good physical condition, we feel good and have more energy, and those benefits are reflected in other areas of our life as well. If you’re looking to increase your overall output and be better inside and outside of the gym, the performance team may be the right team for you. This challenge leads up to the CrossFit Open and this team will set you up to perform your best on Friday nights.

Team Muscle

increasing your muscle mass

Muscle mass isn’t something we often focus on directly, however, there is a science behind building lean muscle mass that can’t be overlooked or ignored. On Team Muscle, you’ll work with a coach and other teammates to focus on increasing your overall muscle mass and strength potential over the course of 6-weeks.

Coach Mentoring

Each team will have a dedicated Coach, offering support and mentoring you along the way.

Body Scans

Before the challenge begins, we’ll use a body scan to measure your baseline, and then use a second scan to measure your success at the end.

Team Support

Each team will receive Coach mentoring and receive access to a facebook group where teammates can ask questions, show support and share resources.

Custom Programming

Reach your goal faster with the guidance of custom programming written specifically for you and the goals you want to achieve.

Personal Training

Work one on one with a coach in a weekly training session as we address weaknesses and issues that may otherwise hold you back. This includes detailed technique coaching.

Prizes will be awarded to the top man and woman from each team who reflect the greatest improvement from their baseline.
